Why was NASA created?
To encourage and promote the breeding of pure bred Australian Shepherds in such a manner as to bring their natural qualities to the highest degree attainable.
To promote, educate and assist all owners and judges of the breed to improve their knowledge of the breed and its history.
Why should I join NASA?
To protect and advance interest in the breed and encourage ethical breeding practices and sportsmanship at all dog shows and trials.
To hold Agility, Breed and Obedience shows, stock trials, working trials, educational and social events.
Members of the National Australian Shepherd Association benefit from:
Access to the varied social and educational events that the club organises

Reduced entry fees at club events, including the Open and Championship show

All members receive 2 club magazines per year, a Summer Edition and a Winter Edition.

How do I join NASA?
You can join NASA at any point throughout the year.
Membership runs from the 1st January to the 31st December each year.
Members joining after the 1st October will automatically have inclusive membership for the following financial year.
Annual subscription renews are due on 1st January each year.
